Snowy Tips White - A
Bai Xue Ya, or otherwise known literally as White Snowy Tips. Although at first glance this tea appears to be identical to the very famous Bai Hao Yin Zhen, or Bai Hao Silver Needle, this variety is in fact the absolute highest grade of white tea on the market. These white snowy tips are in fact the very first buds to come off the tea trees; usually at least one picking before the buds sprout their second bud within to form the Bai Hao Silver Needle tea leaf. The difference is apparent in the slight tinge of green that the hairs show and especially when looking at the soaked tea buds after steeping as they are noticeably thicker and heavier than other grades of white tea. Any connoisseur to white teas would appreciate the detail in both picking and processing that is evident in these leaves! Yishan Teashop - Offering you the finest White Tea on the net. Glass Most would never associate a small glass with Chinese tea-making, but it truly is the most ideal vessel for teas that you must see to appreciate (greens, whites etc..) mouse over icons to see instructions Instructions: For gongfu-style tea tasting, first pour in the hot water halfway, then drop in roughly a tablespoon of leaves (usually about 6g for a regular-size Gaiwan or small glass). Then pour on the hot water again and let steep for approximately 2 minutes. Decant and serve, or drink straight from the cup! Increase the steeping time gradually with each additional infusion.
