Biluochun represents the top class of Chinese green teas. This Pre-Qingming early spring tea comes from the Dongting region of Jiangsu province, the true source of genuine Biluochun tea. A green of this quality and value is highly sought after and very frequently copied by counterfeiters. The true taste of a real Dongting Biluochun is something special, and an experience that we could describe as subtle or gentle in taste but very bold in its unique intensity. Upon the first steeping, the nutty and subdued natural aroma fills the air and overwhelms your taste buds. -- A favorite of many green tea enthusiasts! Glass Most would never associate a small glass with Chinese tea-making, but it truly is the most ideal vessel for teas that you must see to appreciate (greens, whites etc..) mouse over icons to see instructions Instructions: For gongfu-style tea tasting, first fill the vessel with hot water, then drop in roughly two teaspoons of leaves (usually about 6g for a regular-size Gaiwan or small glass). Let steep for 15-30 seconds. Decant and serve, or drink straight from the cup! Increase the steeping time gradually with each additional infusion.
