A tea as famous as Long Jing deserves a category all to itself! There likely is not another tea more popular than Long Jing in China. Since we carry so many of them and always have new picking available every few weeks, we thought we'd point you to them directly. For newcomers to Long Jing we suggest trying the Long Jing sampler. Otherwise, the Wild Long Jings are a great start, with a robust green taste and a great price. As the quality goes up the aromas are generally more subtle and fresh. The highest grades of Long Jing are always those picked in the West Lake region, and of these the first pickings of the season, known as the pre-Qingming festival teas, are the most coveted.

Green teas have historically always had some natural pairings with other aromatics. The most well known of these is definitely the Jasmine-scented green tea. While we always have some of the most fantastic jasmines in China available, we also enjoy pairing our own combinations of fruit and quality green tea. But through either fruit or jasmine greens, scented green tea still always has the great health benefits and fresh aroma that we all expect out of quality green teas.
